Radiant heat is one of the three ways that heat is transferred. Heat always goes cold by natural law hence there are three ways in which heat goes from warm spaces to cold spaces.

  1. Conduction is a direct heat flow through a solid object such as a wall or a ceiling.
  2. Convection is heat movement through air, occurring when air is warmed.
  3. Radiation is the movement of heat rays across air spaces from one warm object to a cooler object. The heat we feel from a wood stove or a quartz space heater is radiant heat.
The emittance of a material refers to its ability to release absorbed heat. Emissivity is express by number between 1 and 1, or 0% to 100%. In general, the more reflective a material is, the lower its emissivity.
A radiant barrier is a material that has an emissivity of 0.1 or less and a reflectivity of 90% or greater (according to ASTM materials testing standards). With that, a radiant barrier can effectively block the transfer of heat.
Radiant barrier holds heat in the house, just like wrapping a baked potato in aluminium foils to keep it warm longer by holding the heat in it.
Radiant barrier reflects the sun’s heat before it can warm up the insulation in your attic, just like a space suit. Hence when the insulation stays cooler, your house will eventually be cooler.
Unlike mass insulation (EG: fiberglass) which only slows down or resists heat transfer, radiant barrier reflects heat.

Radiant barrier can be laid on present insulation like a blanker or stapled under your rafters or crawl space.
Some studies show that radiant barriers can lower cooling costs 5% – 10% when used in a warm, sunny climate.
On a sunny summer day, solar energy is absorbed by the roof thus heating the roof sheathing and causing the underside of the sheathing and the roof framing to become hot. These surface then radiate heat downwards toward the attic floor. By using radiant barrier, the energy flow is reduced thus the attic temperature is also lowered.

Under similar installation set up, the air space provided by double sided aluminium foil will perform better compared to single sided. Other than that, the physical property of double sided aluminium is also better.
Adhesive/glue based lamination will delaminate over the time due to temperature and humidity difference. In contrast, extrusion based lamination is resistant to such delaminating problem.

Monomer of polyethylene is ethylene and monomer of polypropylene is propylene. Polyethylene and Polypropylene are very similar as far as physical properties. However, Polyethylene is semi transparent in colour, light, and tough and better elongation compared to Polypropylene. Where else, Polypropylene is white in colour, stiffer and tensile strength is higher compared to polyethylene.
PP Laminated bag is made by flat weaved fabric, where there is tubing join on the bag and it is laminated with PP Coating on outer surface of the bag. PP Circular Inner Laminated bag is made by circular weaved fabric, where there is no join on the bag and it is laminated with PE Liner on inner surface of the bag.

Moisture Barrier Bag is the most effective packaging solution in protecting sensitive products and eliminates any excess moisture vapours from penetrates inside the bag that will damage the products.
WVTR is a measure of the passage of water vapour through a substance. The most common international unit for the WVTR is g/m2/day. Polyethylene has higher density that provides better moisture barrier and lower water vapour transmission rate than Polypropylene.
This depends on the density of the product being packed however our bags are usually used to load between 20kg – 30kg for paper bags and 25 – 50kg for woven bags.
If the bags are stored in proper condition, such as not expose to direct sunlight or heat source and in dry and cool environment, the bags can last for 1 – 1.5 years due to the polypropylene bags will degrade as a result of UV exposure.

Our minimum quantity order is 10,000pcs for printed bag, where else, unprinted (plain) bag is 5,000pcs.
Printing for paper bag is at maximum 4 colours and woven bag is maximum 8 colours.

We supply the Envirotuff Liner (ETL) in two variation, full and no floor version.

Our ETL cater for 20ft, 40ft, 40ft HC containers; full and no floor version respectively.
ETL is a fully woven reflective liner that is hung into a general purpose ISO shipping container and allow for forklift loading, hand loading and slip sheet. It can reflect up to 97% of the radiant heat & preventing hot / cold air coming through the sealed liner , which would affect the goods. The ETL also can prevent heat rapidly penetrating or escaping the liner thus ensuring greater temperature consistency for your cargo during transit.
The ETL is basically designed to reflect the temperature from the outside and retain the temperature inside ensuring greater temperature consistency for the cargo during transit. Because the environment within the ETL is less exposed to the fluctuations outside there is less chance the temperature inside will drop below the dew point, which can cause condensation and subsequent moisture damage.
ETL suitable for various industries including food and beverage, automotive, plastics, chemicals, computing and electronics.
Basically ETL function is to slowdown the heat build up and heat loss inside the container. Unlike refrigerated container, Envirotuff liner (ETL) does not function to maintain constant temperature inside the insulated container, rather ETL is designed and installed to minimise dangerous temperature spikes experienced during transportation and transit. Also properly installed ETL provide a closed off temperature and humidity controlled environment for the goods within. For example if outside ambience temperature is 40°C, generally the temperature difference between outside and inside ETL is approximately 8 to 10°C.
Our ETL are designed for general purpose ISO dry container, can be utilized for both shipping and storage purposes.
For existing ETL, it cannot be recyclable. The disposal method is either by landfill or by incineration. For the new fully recyclable ETL, the material can be processed and converted into a usable material again such as plastic resins.
