Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC)

Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC), also known as jumbo bag are woven containers designed to hold large quantities of product, from 500kg to 2000kg. It classified according to three type; A, B and C.
Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) type A and B are manufactured from polypropylene plain woven and non-conductive materials while Type C are made of non-conductive fabric with interwoven conductive threads to be connected to a grounding point during filling or discharging. These bags can be produced by using flat or circular fabric.
Flat Fabric of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) also divided into lamination or non-lamination. This FIBC consists of total six panels including four panels of body, top and bottom panel then sewn into one bag. It tends to hold their shape better than other types of bag for stacking.
Alternatively, it could be tailormade with or without partition based on customer requirement. LDPE liner also can be inserted into the bag in order to give extra protection from product leakage.
Type A and B highly suitable for products that requires non electric properties while Type C can be use in an environment with combustible dusts and/or explosive gases.
